A reactive air pressure redistributing and reduction support surface utilising immersion and envelopment that provides an effective pressure redistribution and reduction support surface with enhanced durability and patient comfort. It is designed primarily for off-loading pressure from the heels and can be used wherever support or elevation of the lower legs is required, where it has been proven to be comfortable, as well as providing effective pressure redistribution for those at all levels of pressure damage. Comprises a blend of cellulose fluff and fluid-retaining superabsorbent particles, along with a silicone wound contact layer and a water-repellent, air permeable, non-woven outer layer. Has a soft consistency for a cushioning effect. A bordered version, RespoSorb Silicone Border, is also available.
Sterile, self-adhesive absorbent dressing with a silicone interface. The backing film is air-permeable yet waterproof, allowing the patient to shower. Depending on the wound's condition and the clinician’s instructions, the dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days. The absorbent pad is made of cellulose and SAP, which effectively absorb and retain exudate, and is wrapped in a hydrophilic cellulose tissue to distribute the exudate evenly.
