KerraCel

KerraCel

A sterile, gelling fibre dressing made from carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). The non-woven gelling fibres absorb exudate from the wound, turning them into a soft gel that maintains a moist wound management environment.

KerraContact Ag

KerraContact Ag dressing uses Ag Oxysalts Technology, which is designed with three missing-electrons (Ag3+), while silver contained in other silver dressings is missing only one electron (Ag1+). Kerracontact Ag dressing is a sterile, single use wound dressing effective against a variety of gram-negative and grampositive bacteria for up to seven days. It can be used on dry wounds (when pre-moistened) or in the presence of exudate whereby it allows for transfer of fluids into a secondary dressing.
