ClearFilm

Richardson Healthcare

Description

A transparent and adhesive film dressing. The film is impermeable to water and bacteria, which protects the wound site from contamination and infection. The frame delivery system provides gentle but secure adherence to the skin, while ensuring accurate positioning over the wound site. The film has a high MVTR, which enables continuous moisture and oxygen exchange to support normal skin function. The low-reflective surface provides high visibility to facilitate monitoring. Latex-free.

Indications

For use as a secondary dressing on minor burns. Can be used as a protective cover and fixation for catheter sites, as well as skin graft donor sites, clean or closed surgical incisions, abrasions and blisters.

Contraindications
