C-Sorb Carbon

Richardson Healthcare

Description

A non-adherent superabsorbent with an integrated carbon layer. The carbon layer absorbs and neutralises wound odour. The fast-wicking core contains superabsorbent polymers (SAP), which transform into a gel that draws in fluid and bacteria. The core's lock-away technology retains fluid effectively, preventing leakage and maceration. The dressing's fluid-repellent backing minimises the risk of strikethrough. Latex-free.

Indications

Moderately or heavily exuding wounds, including leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, fungating malignant wounds, surgical wounds and lymphorrhoea. Suitable for use under compression

Contraindications

Dry wounds; infected wounds (unless advised to by a healthcare professional)
