C-Sorb

Richardson Healthcare

Description

A non-adherent superabsorbent dressing pad. The fast-wicking core contains superabsorbent polymers (SAP), which transform into a gel that draws in fluid and bacteria, ensuring that it is evenly distributed across the pad to prevent uncomfortable bulking in one area. The core's lock-away technology retains fluid effectively, which prevents leakage and maceration. The dressing's fluid-repellent backing prevents strikethrough. Latex-free.

Indications

Moderately or heavily exuding wounds, including pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, fungating malignant wounds, and superficial and partial-thickness wounds. Suitable for use under compression.

Contraindications

Dry wounds; infected wounds (unless advised to by a healthcare professional)
