Description

Comprises an absorbent hydrocolloid matrix laminated to a breathable polyurethane film backing. The hydrocolloid matrix absorbs exudate and forms a cohesive gel, while the film backing provides a high rate of moisture vapour transmission.

Indications

Lightly exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, foot ulcers, superficial partial-thickness burns, donor sites, diabetic foot ulcers, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions. Can also be used on small wounds towards the end of the healing trajectory.

Contraindications

Third-degree burns; wounds with clinical signs of infection; wounds at high risk of infection. Do not use on patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to hydrocolloids. See instructions for use.
