Description
Adhesive and non-adhesive sterile Hydrofiber foam dressings consisting of a waterproof outer polyurethane layer and a multilayered absorbent pad. The adhesive version has a silicone adhesive border. The multilayer absorbent pad contains a layer of polyurethane foam and a non-woven layer of Hydrofiber (sodium carboxymethylcellulose) impregnated with 1.2% ionic silver.
Indications
For the management of infected wounds (or wounds at increased risk of infection). May be used for wounds such as minor abrasions, lacerations, minor cuts, minor scalds and burns. Under medical supervision, may be used in the management of both acute and chronic wounds.
